Nuttshell is a Melbourne-based design studio. What sets us apart is our ability to work across print, digital, strategy, signage and environment design.
Nuttshell is an interdisciplinary studio, we bring a design mind-set to all our work – we call upon our interpretation experience as much as we draw from our understanding of wayfinding strategy, visual information hierarchies and brand development. It is this play between disciplines that gives us the ability to deliver creative outcomes that surprise, enliven and excite.

Sue Allnutt is Nuttshell’s Director. Beginning her career in London’s Design Research Unit and the British Museum Design Studio, she has built a Studio with an impressive folio that spans all sectors, includes multiple disciplines and, most perhaps importantly, takes an audience centric approach to create beautiful and memorable work.

Zoë Allnutt is Nuttshell’s Creative Director. Zoë is a multi-disciplinary designer with over 15 years experience. She brings aesthetic agility, a responsive and collaborative approach to creative problem-solving and a passion for community engagement to the Studio.

Our close-knit creative team is made up of Dino Senno, Adrian Franzese, Beth Robinson and Mietta Howes. Nuttshell is structured around direct client contact with our designers in order to keep the design process as streamlined, direct and friendly as possible. We are good people who enjoy doing great work for our clients.
